Welcome to Otemachi Commercial High School's home page. Our school is a part-time commercial night school, which is a unique style in Hiroshima Prefecture. We celebrated the 80th anniversary last year. It is located in the center of Hiroshima City, and about 150 students of various ages are studying here.
　 Many students studying at our school come under various circumstances. For example, some come here after leaving school (full-time course) halfway and some enter aiming at commercial qualifications (especially in the case of elderly students).
Thus we have prepared a curriculum that meets various needs of the students and carry it out. Students can also study in small numbers and so get elaborate instruction.
Another characteristic of our school is that students can graduate in 3 years using the system of 'Daiken,' 'Ginou-shinsa,' or 'Jitsumu-daitai.' 'Daiken' is an authorized test for getting university entrance exam qualifications. 'Ginou-shinsa' is a substitution system in which some authorized qualifications are recognized as our school's credits. And 'Jitsumu-daitai' is work experience credits.
The studetns work very eagerly in club activities, too. Some clubs have very good results in prefectural meets and also in national meets.
All the staff members keep doing our best to realize student-centered education.
